Hello, friends!
As the title suggests, I’m taking a small break from writing/posting while I work on other projects- namely, the growth of the Present Poetry Podcast.
It’s come a long way in three years, and I’m looking at different ways to grow my audience, get more submissions, and – someday- make a little money.
However, I am one busy woman between my podcast, my day job, and writing twice a month for the Coffee House Writers! So, to concentrate my efforts and prevent burnout, I plan to take the rest of April and all of May to put some new ideas into effect, organize my plans, and bring you the content you deserve.
If you haven’t already checked out the podcast, why not? I’m very proud of it, and I hope that some of you will submit your poetry so I can make you an episode!
Not only can you find it on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and online, but it also has a YouTube channel, Facebook, Twitter, and website. I’m working on a “featured author” type blog, and have the first short video scheduled for its new TikTok channel.

So that’s my plan! I’ll take a month to focus on my podcast and get it sorted, and then I’ll return to writing more articles, sharing poetry, and entertaining you for years to come!
