Now arise from winter’s bed
And let your life shine through
I call upon your seeds to spread
And help in Spring’s renew
Now awaken from your sleep
And shake your weary bark
Wake the others with a sweep-
Remind them of their spark
Now emerge from your dens
And step into the sun
Shake off winter’s lonely kens
It’s time to have some fun
Now open your windows wide
And let the fresh air in
It’s too nice to stay inside
You need sunshine on your skin
Now begins a better time
Away from winter’s past
Let the world shake off her grime
For Spring has come at last
