Church

The wind hears my prayers
The moon knows my sins
The moss keeps my secrets
The stones hold my wins

The birds are my choir
My preacher is the brook
The deer teaches me wisdom
Not found inside a book

The dirt keeps me humble
The sky gives me dreams
The insects remind me
Nothing is what it seems

The vines teach me harmony
The flowers, to be bold
The sun gives revelations
Too brilliant to behold

The forest is my temple
The spirits are my guide
The rain is my baptismal
And I'm a willing bride
