As some of you may know, Lulu.com had been giving me some issues, so I decided to pull By the Bones and find my baby a new home.
After searching around and talking to different publishers, I finally found the perfect home with Yorkshire Publishing!
Established in 2002, Yorkshire Publishing has been helping authors of all stages get their creations out into the world, and they do so through a team of editors, designers, and publicists. Plus, their office is local!!
When I got the acceptance letter, I was over the moon with excitement! I’ve chatted with them all week, and I got my first round of edits yesterday, so I’m hopeful that I’ll have a release date within the next few days!
Because who wouldn’t want creepy poetry for Valentine’s day?
Self-publishing By the Bones was an experience I’ll never forget, but it’s such a relief to know that I don’t have to do it alone. I now have Yorkshire Publishing‘s team of experts behind me, and I can’t wait to see how they improve my experience!
And, now that I know what kind of material they accept, it’s inspired me to start work on my next poetry collection! I’m hoping to have it written by the end of this year and published shortly after.
