I’m tired.

Tired of people pretending to care about others,
But only taking action when it benefits them.

Tired of living through one historic event after another
With hardly any room to breathe in between.

Tired of a government that would rather take care of themselves
Then look after the people they’re supposed to govern.

Tired of the rich getting away with murder, or worse,
While the poor struggle to feed their babies.

Tired of AI “innovation” that takes over art and writing, music, and more-
The very things that make us human, now in the hands of technology.

Tired of an economy where working two jobs is barely enough to survive,
But heaven forbid we tax the churches and bigwigs.

Tired of a medical system that doesn’t take my body seriously
Just because I wasn’t born with an XY chromosome.

Tired of watching bees disappear and forests die
Because we value fast moneymakers over mother nature.

Tired of living a country that would rather hurt its people
Then find the means to help them succeed.

I’m so very tired. Aren’t you?
