Now that my audience has grown, I believe it’s time for a little introduction.
Hello!

My name is Erynn, and I am a poet, author, and podcaster.
I first discovered poetry in middle school and fell in love with it. I wrote poems all throughout my teenage and college years, and they became my primary way to cope with the stresses of my life.
In 2019, after some years away, I finally graduated with a degree in Creative Writing and published my first poetry collection.
I now have four published poetry collections, and each one has a theme that’s near and dear to my heart. They are:
By the Bones
By the Bones was my capstone project, and every poem is connected by bones and death in some way. It’s a fantastical collection that celebrates the Halloween spirit with mentions of monsters, witches, ghosts, skeletons, and more. It’s my baby.
Transfiguration
Transfiguration is a poetry collection based on mental health, therapy, and finding your power. I included some actual tips from my therapy sessions and broke the collection into three parts: trauma, therapy, and healing. My goal is to remind my readers that they’re not alone in their struggles, and I believe Transfiguration accomplishes that.
Into the Western Sky
Into the Western Sky is my take on cowboy poetry, and it’s dedicated to my grandpa, who kept asking “When are you going to write me some cowboy poems?” It’s the smallest of my collections because cowboy poetry isn’t my forte, but I think I did a good job in romanticising the Old West like only a poet can. Also, my grandpa loves it, so mission accomplished!
Structured Chaos
Structured Chaos is my newest collection, and it’s also my largest one. Every poem is a traditional form, but the subjects are all untraditional and chaotic. Like By the Bones, we have poems about monsters, madness, anarchy, and a host of other subjects that you wouldn’t think belong in a traditional form, but they do. It’s my greatest accomplisment so far, and possibly the last collection I do for a while.
Those are my books, and I also have merch associated with each one, so you can take your fandom to the next level!
Outside of writing, I’m into video games, weaving bookmarks and blankets, and hanging out with my cat.
I’m also the head of the Poetry Department for the Coffee House Writers Magazine, and I love the community there and how they let me plan lessons and help other poets grow. My dream is to teach college poetry one day, so this is right up my alley.
That’s all for now! Reach out if you have any questions, and you can follow my Facebook page (where I’m most active) for more updates.
However, I wouldn’t have this platform without your support, so thank you! I look forward to sharing more writings with you.
