New Books On The Way!

Hello, everyone!

Last year, I made the decision to tackle two huge poetry-related projects. Well, I’m happy to announce that they’re going well!

Your Ultimate Poetry Guide

The first project I’m working on is a comprehensive poetry guide. It’s a beast of a project, and I have around 80 more chapters to write before I’m done, but I am committed to making this the only guide you’ll ever need.

Every chapter is broken into four sections: Form history, form info, form outline, and form examples.

As you can imagine, it’s a LOT of research, and I’ve gone down quite a few poetry-related rabbit holes.

For example, did you know that the Cinquain was developed by a poet who felt that her potential, like the poem, was abruptly cut short?

Or that the classic poem, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, is one of the finest examples of a “bob and wheel” poem to date?

This guide is going to be the end-all, be all source for poets of all stages, but I’m not sure when it’ll be out. I hope to have a rough draft finished in time for the Imaginarum convention in July, but we’ll see how that goes.

However, you can read the ENTIRE first chapter on my Ko-Fi page for the low, low price of $5. There’s no pressure- just an option if you’d like an exclusive look at it and other snippets along the way.

Structured Chaos

The other project is a new poetry collection, which I plan to have finished by Summer of 2025. It’s called “Structured Chaos” and will be a collection of traditional poetry forms about chaotic subjects.

It’s going to be my biggest collection to date, and I’m very excited to see how it turns out! If you’re interested, you can grab a sneak-peek at the cover on my Ko-Fi account, or check out these poems from the collection and see what you think!

Overall, 2025 is proving to be a busy year for me, and I can’t wait to show you how much I’ve grown in my poetry journey.

Thank you for your support, and may you have a wonderful week!
