Tell me stories of the days
When cowboys walked the earth

Let me learn about their ways
And let them prove their worth

Tell me of the starry nights
They spent watching the herd

Or of drunken tavern fights
That left them undeterred

Tell me of the lonely rides
They took across the plains

Show me how their life collides
Against our modern chains

Paint a picture in my mind
Of the great Wild West

It’s through these stories that we find
The strength to do what’s best
