Breakfast may be the "most important meal of the day," but it's easy to get bored with it if you have the same old options. Luckily, I'm here to help! I'm going to show you my favorite breakfast, and it's something that I've eaten for Lunch and Dinner as well. I give you: The Egg Wrap! The Egg Wrap is super simple and should be fun for the whole family. However, this article will focus on a single serving, so you'd need to adjust accordingly. To make the Egg Wrap, you'll need: First, cut up your bacon and get it frying. Once it's crispy (but not burnt), crack open the eggs and plop them into the pan. You can drain the grease first if you like, but that bacon grease will add flavor. Using a whisk (or fork), scramble the eggs and bacon together until the eggs are done.
Lay out your wrap on a plate and add the cheese. Pour the egg mixture on the cheese (for ultimate melty-ness) and spoon some salsa on top (not too much because the salsa will make it soggy). Fold and enjoy!
If you don't like salsa, that's ok! This also goes great with spicy mustard, Tabasco sauce, or whatever else you like on your eggs. There you have it! The Egg Wrap is a great alternative to plain scrambled eggs, and you can pair it with fresh fruit for an extra "oomph".
Did you try it? Let me know!
